Minutes of Special Parish Council Meeting

Purpose of the special meeting was to agree the Precept 2026/27
As Treasurer, Cllr Cummings confirmed that the current balance in the bank account stands at £4,892.00.
The current Precept is £2,430, which equates to £22.50 per Band D Household.
Cllr Cummings proposed increasing this very slightly to allow for increases in insurance, clerk remuneration, etc, and requested a Precept of £2,725, which equates to £25.00 per Band D Household, an increase of just £2.50 per household. With a budget of £2,645 for 2026/27, this allows for a small contingency.
All Cllrs in agreement.
Precept Form was completed, and then signed by Cllr Ashley as Chairman, and submitted electronically to ELDC by the Clerk.
