Alvingham Village Community Hall has been able to install as brand new heating and ventilation system with thanks to funding received from The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) GRASSroots Grant.
'We are proud to announce that our new Heating/Ventilation/Filtration and Aircon system is now up and running! No need for any more £1 coins in the meters to heat the hall! Instead, almost instant heat is available at the touch of a button, together with filtered ventilation.
The majority of the costs were met with the help of funding from The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) GRASSroots Grant, applied for by the AVCH C.I.O. Committee.
New ceiling tiles and insulation (kindly fitted by village volunteers - saving a considerable sum!) complete the install. We look forward to welcoming all members of our community into what is now an even more comfortable and versatile space for numerous functions and events.'
